Day-1 : Home - New Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi airport and transfer to your hotel. The standard Check-in time at the hotel is 02:00 PM. The rest of the day is free. Overnight at hotel The Lalit New Delhi 


Day-2 : New & Old Delhi

Tour briefing and introduction of travelers. Visits in Delhi visiting Humayun's Tomb, Jama Mosque, and rickshaw ride in Old Delhi, the community kitchen at Sikh Temple, and the Lotus Temple. Overnight at Hotel The Lalit New Delhi. 


Day-3 : Delhi - Agra

First session of Yoga at the hotel. After breakfast, drive to Agra for about four hours en-routing visiting Akshardham Temple. Meditate in the tranquility of this Hindu temple. In the evening, visit Mehtab Bagh to get the first glimpse of the most photographed building in the world - Taj Mahal. Overnight at hotel Trident Agra. 


Day-4 : Agra

Start your day by visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Yoga session at Taj Khema with the views of the Taj Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later visit the massive palace complex of Agra Fort. The rest of the day is free for shopping. The evening session of meditation and overnight at Hotel Trident Agra.   


Day-5 : Agra - Jaipur

After a relaxed breakfast, drive to the capital city of Rajasthan- Jaipur which is known for its palaces, forts, and colourful markets. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once the capital of India during the Mughals. Arrive in Jaipur and check in and overnight at the beautiful heritage hotel Alsisar Haveli Jaipur. 


Day-6 : Jaipur

Early in the morning around 4:30 AM, be a part of the most sensational and spiritual Aarti of Lord Krishna at Govind Deo Ji temple. People here gather early and sing spiritual songs while waiting for god to wake up. The atmosphere is mesmerizing and will leave you astonished. Return to the hotel for breakfast, Visit Amer Fort on a hilltop and enjoy an elephant ride up to the fort. The City Palace of Jaipur is the finest specimen of the grandeur and luxurious lifestyle of the Maharajas and Maharanis of the princely state of Jaipur. Walk around the colourful markets of Jaipur. overnight at the beautiful heritage hotel Alsisar Haveli Jaipur. 


Day-7 : Jaipur - Rishikesh

Go deeper on your path of Yoga by attending another session at the hotel. Later you will be transferred to Jaipur airport for a flight to Dehradun (the nearest airport around 40 km from Rishikesh- The Yoga Capital of the world. With the arrival in Rishikesh, your spiritual journey following the path of Bhakti Yoga will start as you listen and be a part of "Kirtan" specially organized for you. Kirtan is the chanting and spiritual singing of holy mantras by musicians. Overnight at the Hotel Lemon Tree Premier on the banks of the Ganges in Rishikesh. 


Day-8 : Rishikesh

Wake up early and drive for about 45 minutes up in the mountains crossing the rivers to Vashishtha Cave - A serene place on the banks of the Ganges. It is said that performing meditation here brings calmness and inner peace. Today you shall also be practicing Yoga on the white sand of the revered Ganges. Later add a little adventure when you do river rafting in the Ganges flowing down with its waves from the cave to your hotel in Rishikesh. Among the many, largest ashram in Rishikesh, the Parmarth Niketan Ashram is the spiritual heaven and contains within it the voice and the spirit of divine communion. Feel enlightened and spiritual, when you become a part of the evening puja of river Ganges being performed by the young priests studying Vedas and ancient yogic rituals at the ashram. If Swami Ji, the spiritual head of the ashram is in Rishikesh, you will also get a rare opportunity to do a "Satsang" with him. Overnight at the Hotel Lemon Tree Premier in Rishikesh. 


Day-9 : Rishikesh - Haridwar

Wake-up early before the sun comes-up from the mountains and drive by Jeeps for around 45 minutes to a very powerful temple of Kunjapuri. Situated up in Himalayas, this temple is one of the 52 Shakti -Peeths - the seat of Shakti. Immediately with your arrival at this temple, you will feel special energy and positive vibrations with-in you. A session of Yoga followed by silent mediation will revoke all your five senses.


Later after lunch, drive to Haridwar- "The City of Divine", about 40 km / 1.5 hours to another most revered pilgrimage center where sages, rishis, saints and pilgrims have flocked for millennia. Har-Ki-Pauri, the most important ghat in Haridwar is home to thousands of orange-robed sadhus and pilgrims performing various religious rituals for a better life as well as for peace to the soul after the death. The entire atmosphere at Har-Ki-Pauri fills with spirituality when thousand of candles (Diyas) are lit-up and being floated while offering special offerings to Mother Ganges. A group of Brahmins will perform special puja chanting holy mantras for your total well being. Overnight at a Hotel Sarovar Ambrosia Haridwar. 

   

Day-10 : Haridwar - Delhi

Sri Ma Anandamayi was one of the great Hindu saints of the 20th Century born in India. She was a spiritual philosopher, Yoga guru, inspirational wisdom, and a divine soul. Her samadhi in Haridwar radiates peace and showers blessings on devotees who come to pay their respects from all over the world. You will also be blessed when you meditate in the central hall of the ashram followed by a discourse with the secretary of the ashram about the Ma and her teachings.   


Later after lunch, drive to Delhi for about 4.5 hours. Check-in and overnight at a hotel near the airport in New Delhi.


Day-11 : Delhi - Leh (Ladakh)

Early morning flight to Leh (3500 meters above sea level), the capital of the northmost state of Ladakh in the Himalayas. The word Ladakh translates into the " Land of High Passes" owning to its location in the high hills of Karakoram and the Himalayan mountains. Sometimes referred to as " Little Tibet", the region has many similarities to the Tibetan art, culture, architecture, and lifestyle of habitats. It is a magical and mystical land dotted with centuries-old Buddhist monasteries which are home to thousands of lamas practicing rich traditions of Tibetan Buddhism in a monastic order. 


Arrive at Leh airport and drive for around 1.5 hours to a small Ladakhi village- Uleytokpo in the lower Ladakh region. The rest of the day is free to acclimatize due to the high altitude. Overnight at a hotel in Uleytokpo.   


Day-12 : Leh (Ladakh)

Your day experiencing the art & culture of Ladakh will start with a visit to one of the oldest Lamayuru Monastery. It is said that Jesus Christ spent missing years of his life here studying Buddhism. You will re-energies your spirit by a session of meditation in the monastery complex. Later visit the oldest Tibetan style monastery of Alchi. The artistic and spiritual details of both Buddhist and the Hindu are reflected in the wall paintings in the monastery. These are some of the oldest surviving paintings in Ladakh. The complex also has huge statues of the Buddha and elaborate wood carvings and art-work. Also visit Likir Monastery which houses 23 meters tall statue of Maitreya Buddha (the future Buddha). Later continue driving towards the city of Leh with an en-route stop at the confluence of two most important Himalayan rivers - Indus and Zanskar. A session of Yoga on an island at this confluence will fill you with positive energies. Arrive Leh and check-in at Hotel Chospa Leh.  


Day-13 : Leh (Ladakh)

Visit Shanti Stupa to meditate followed by a visit to Leh Palace which is also the representation of Potala Palace in Tibet. Visit Hemis Monastery, the spiritual center of the Drukpa lineage or Red Hat Sect of Buddhism, and house a rich collection of miniature paintings, thangkas, and statues of Buddhist gods and goddesses. Afternoon free to walk around the Tibetan market in Leh. Later, enjoy a live cultural evening performed by a group of Ladakahi musicians and dancers. Overnight at a Hotel Chospa Leh.


Day-14 : Leh (Ladakh)

Early morning, seek the blessings of the Buddhist lamas when you join them in Buddhist prayers performed by lamas at Thiksey Monastery having a striking resemblance to Potala Palace in Tibet. After a session of Yoga in the monastery complex, visit the grand statue of Maitreya Buddha in two storied shrine hall and meet with the lamas living in the rooms built on a cliff rising in tier upon tier. Later visit Thaktok monastery whose roof as well as walls are made up of rock. This 16th-century monastery was built around the cave where Guru Padmasambhava meditated for 3 years around the 8th century. Meditate in the cave for about 20 minutes and feel the positivity within yourself. Spend the rest of the time in the Tibetan market in Leh City. In the evening, you will transcend to the mystic world of the Tibetan practice of Oracles, or spirit mediums which is a form of ritualized possession that entails practitioners falling into trances and becoming possessed by mundane deities that speak and act through them. Overnight at Hotel Chospa Leh. 


Day-15 : Leh - Delhi

Today is the day to return to our daily life with a commitment to yourself to follow the path you learned and practiced during this "Spiritual Journey to India". In-time transfer to Leh airport for a flight back to Delhi. Check-in and overnight at your hotel near the International airport in New Delhi. 


Day-16 : Delhi - Home

It is time to say " Good Bye " as we transfer you back to the International airport for a flight back home.
